Our natural tent meadow at Kesseler Mill
For many years, our beautifully situated natural tent meadow in Kesseler has been used by paddlers for overnight stays.
Especially paddlers who spend several days canoeing on the Lippe river like to choose our meadow as a stopover.
Barbecues and overnight stays are possible upon request.

Everything was extremely well organized, the canoes were clean, and the staff was friendly. I would gladly do it again.
The canoe tours and the Gaman team were all fantastic. Good equipment, beautiful route, and the camping at Kesseler Mühle is very charming.
Superbly organized and a truly great tour guide, would gladly do it again!
Family outing with 3 children (2 of whom are teenagers). Booking a few days in advance was straightforward. Excellent equipment. Very professional organization. The route (Classic Tour) is ideal for beginners. We booked the return bus transfer, which worked perfectly. We'd gladly come again.
We spontaneously decided to book a canoe tour and were able to start that same afternoon. The contact was excellent, the instructions were great, and the equipment was good. We are very satisfied and will definitely come back. The Lippe River is simply beautiful.
A really nice canoe guide who organized a great tour with helpful tips. The city tour was perfect for us with our dog.
We paddled the Classic route. It was a really great route, beautiful scenery, peaceful, and the river had plenty of water in August (so paddling was easy). One of the best routes I've ever paddled.
As a newcomer to water sports, I came across Gamann Canoes through an advertisement for used kayaks. Contact was prompt and very friendly; C. Gamann took the time for a detailed consultation on site, and I was able to try out various kayaks until the right one for me and my needs was found.
Excellent canoeists. A concise yet comprehensive briefing with lots of helpful tips. Great route for beginners and families.
We had a fantastic day with a superb tour. Punctual, helpful, reliable, competent, and very courteous. We would gladly book with them again and highly recommend them.

Bad weather There is no such thing as bad clothing. 🙂
We outdoor activity providers are often asked, "...and what if it rains?" The answer is quite simple: We paddle, of course, because rain is a part of nature and perfectly acceptable in summer. Even thunderstorms don't necessarily mean we have to cancel the tour, as experience shows that thunderstorms usually develop in the late afternoon, when our tours are typically over. Lightning and thunder also pass quickly, and often it's enough to simply wait half an hour. Of course, there are times when a tour can't take place, but we don't cancel it three days in advance. Instead, we make the decision on-site, once the weather forecast is reasonably clear.
Outdoor events mean that you have to be prepared for all kinds of weather. And so on. important such as appropriate clothing, is sunscreen. This is often forgotten, yet it is needed much more often than a rain jacket.
