\"\"On the stretch from H\u00f6rste to Lippstadt, after about 1.5 km, you'll encounter a slalom course that experienced paddlers will surely enjoy. Beginners should definitely get out and carefully inspect the section beforehand \u2013 even though almost everyone will then decide to paddle through it. Those who still prefer not to can portage their canoe. Otherwise, the tour is also manageable for families and beginners. Along this route, you'll be treated to unobstructed views of the landscape with its varied, heavily vegetated banks. The passage through Lippstadt, with its narrow northern bypass channel, is particularly noteworthy and offers plenty of fun for beginners and families.
\nAt the end of the canoe trip, two restaurants invite you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. There is also a picnic area at the observation tower in Benninghausen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

How is payment for the tour arranged?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The tour booked with us becomes binding for both parties upon receipt of the order confirmation. For all tours scheduled more than one week in the future, we kindly request that the invoice amount be transferred to our account (see order confirmation\/invoice).
\nFor short-notice bookings (less than one week), the amount can also be paid in cash directly at the starting point before the tour begins.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How do I get back after the tour? (Passenger transfer) <\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Groups of up to 7 people can use a shared taxi from Taxi Rolli (02941-10103) for 40 euros \u2013 however, we often have our bus return service on weekends for 6 euros per person.

Can I take my dog with me in the canoe?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Of course, you are welcome to bring your dog on one of our tours. For logistical reasons, we kindly ask that you inform us of this when booking. However, we would also like to expressly point out that we accept no liability whatsoever for your animal. Furthermore, your dog must remain on the boat at all times.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Is there a legal requirement to wear a life jacket?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

There is currently no legally binding law mandating the use of life jackets on German rivers. However, since the safety and security of our guests is of utmost importance to us, wearing a life jacket is a basic requirement for participation in any of our tours. Children under 18 must wear the life jacket for the entire duration of the tour. Should you remove your life jacket during the tour, you do so entirely at your own risk. We disclaim all liability from that point onward. Furthermore, participation in the entire event is at your own risk.\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Is it permitted to drink alcohol on a canoe trip?<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

No! We do not tolerate the consumption of alcoholic beverages on our tours under any circumstances. The barbecue area is located directly on the Lippe River and is only a 2-minute walk from the Benninghausen canoe landing. Use of the barbecue hut on the Lippe is only possible with prior registration.<\/p>\n

    Bad weather<\/em><\/strong> There is no such thing as bad clothing. \ud83d\ude42 <\/em><\/p>\n

    We outdoor activity providers are often asked, "...and what if it rains?" The answer is quite simple: We paddle, of course, because rain is a part of nature and perfectly acceptable in summer. Even thunderstorms don't necessarily mean we have to cancel the tour, as experience shows that thunderstorms usually develop in the late afternoon, when our tours are typically over. Lightning and thunder also pass quickly, and often it's enough to simply wait half an hour. Of course, there are times when a tour can't take place, but we don't cancel it three days in advance. Instead, we make the decision on-site, once the weather forecast is reasonably clear.<\/p>\n

    Outdoor events mean that you have to be prepared for all kinds of weather. And so on. important<\/strong> such as appropriate clothing, is sunscreen<\/strong>. This is often forgotten, yet it is needed much more often than a rain jacket.<\/p>\n
